My Trip to Brazil- Day 1

Let me start out by saying that I’m so grateful to be able to have the opportunity to attend the Hair Brasil Expo in Sao Paul, Brazil this year. I don’t know if i was more excited about all the new experiences i will have at the show or with the ALL  tasty delights in brazil  . LOL.. I’m such a #FOODIE .  I can admit that i was a little nervous about this trip, beings that EVER BODY had their reasons on why i shouldn’t go.  I always say “You can’t sit around and wait for oppurtunities to come  to you! You have to create them for yourself” !… Well truth be told i  was suppose to have my side kick on this trip with me , but she wasn’t able come.  And I’m not going to mention her name( start with  a S ).( me rolling my eyes)..LOL….But once i boarded the plane it was no turning back. 9 hours later….I did ARRIVE IN ONE PIECE!!!! Thank the lord!

Once i arrived everything went smooth. Off the plane, Customs, Money exchange, Car ride, Hotel check in. I was ready for what ever Brazil had to offer. The next day i decided to take a little walk in the neighborhood near my hotel , just to check out the area. Well lets just say i didn’t make the right neighborhood to stay in. LOL. I mean it was cool. Just a little on the Dirty South Side. The hotel I was  staying in was really nice , but the area was ok. Next time i  will choose a better area to stay in….. On my little  stroll i did encounter a few interesting people. One, the ice cream man who tried to hustle me out of an extra $2 and the guy trying to sell me some fake Ray Ban sunglasses. OMG they were two funny individuals. I guess they  figured because i couldn’t understand the language , then i could count the money. LOL…. Well honey i fooled them. I polity pulled out my phone with the Translator App on it and went straight in for the kill. They both were surprised and returned my proper cash. #Bloop in their face… The rest of my walk was pretty cool. I noticed ALOT of graffiti on the walls in the city. I wouldn’t be surprised if they spray painted the dogs in the city!!! i don’t remember seeing and nice and clean walls at all. The locals did treat me really well and was very patient trying to understand me. I didn’t explore to much so here are a few photos i did take on my first day!  ENJOY.
